Terms and Conditions

General Definitions “Buyer” means the person who buys goods from the seller

“Seller” and “Artist” means Karen Huntington.

Payment For Artwork

UK customers can pay by Paypal or direct transfer. Outside the UK, customers can only pay by using the secure online payment system, Paypal. A Paypal invoice will be sent via email. Artwork will be shipped once full payment has cleared.

For digital downloads customer pay via Paypal hosted by my ecommerce partner DPD.com. Digital downloads are sent from secure DPD.com servers.

All financial transactions are dealt with through the secure online Paypal system, I do not hold any financial details. For digital downloads you do not commit yourself to buying anything until you click on the Paypal pay now button. You will be presented with a confirmation of receipt which you can print.

Payments are only accepted in pounds Sterling which Paypal will automatically convert to if Payment is from outside the UK.

Prices

For artwork shown on the website are excluding packaging and delivery costs. For digital downloads the price is what is shown on the website.

Availability

Prints and Paintings are subject to availability and are sold on a first come first served basis.

The seller reserves the right to cancel any order. If this occurs a full refund will be given.

Shipping & Insurance

Shipping & Insurance charges for originals are dealt with on an individual basis by email or telephone with the buyer.

Shipping for prints are based on the destination. UK prints are sent via Special Delivery. For the rest of the world will be sent via Airsure or Parcelforce depending on weight and size. If there is any noticeable damage to the packaging on arrival the buyer must refuse to accept the item and inform the seller within 24 hours.

Once delivered the buyer will be the owner of the painting or print and will be responsible for any loss or damage.

Returns & Cancellations

If the buyer is unhappy in anyway with the print or painting they may cancel the order within 7 working days of delivery. If an order is cancelled the buyer must notify the seller of their intention to cancel by email or in writing, within the 7 day period. The artwork must be returned to the seller within 10 days of delivery and is responsible for return deliveries including all delivery and insurance costs.

Buyers must return the print or painting undamaged in their original condition and packaging in perfect saleable condition to obtain a refund. Once checked by the seller and confirmed to be in its original state, refunds will be made within 14 days. Original postage and packaging charge is non-refundable.

For digital downloads this will be dealt with on an individual basis.

The Copyright for all original paintings and images on this website remains with the artist/seller; the buyer is purchasing the original and NOT the right to reproduce prints for publication.

The Copyright for digital downloads remains with the artist/seller and once purchased are for individual use and should not be distributed or copied in anyway.

Any infringement on these rights will be pursued vigorously.

Miscellaneous

Whilst the printers make every effort in reproducing original artwork, there may be some colour variations on reproduced artworks.

Your consumer statutory rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions may be changed by the seller at any time.

In no event will www.karenhuntington.co.uk be liable for any indirect, incidental, economic or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the website related products or software. In no event will liability of www.karenhuntington.co.uk exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using this site or purchasing or downloading products from this site.
